Oaks
Properties LLC began in 1970, known at that time as the Namron Company.
As a small family-owned (father and son) company, Namron's first purchase
was a 15-unit property in South Minneapolis. In early 2000, Namron Company
changed its name to Oaks Properties LLC in order to unite all of the company's
rental communities together under the "Oaks" banner. Throughout the years,
the company has selectively purchased and developed properties within the
Twin Cities metropolitan area. In December 2003, this expanded to include
Texas with the purchase of a 432 apartment community called Oaks Hackberry
Creek in Dallas, Texas. |

Properties owns and manages a total number of 1451 apartment homes within
eleven different communities. Nine of the eleven communities are located
within the Twin Cities metropolitan area: St. Paul, Minneapolis, Edina and
Apple Valley. We recently opened a new complex along the light rail. Two of our communities are located in the Dallas/Fort
Worth metroplex in Texas. Our home office, located in Minneapolis, is also
owned and managed by Oaks Properties; our office building
is a restored 1910-era brick mansion which was converted into office space
in 1982. |

Oaks
Properties LLC is recognized for its exceptional rental communities. Four
of our rental communities have been awarded the Minnesota Multi-Housing
Association's prestigious MADACS Award for property excellence: Vernon Oaks
in 1999 and again in 2003, Oaks Lincoln Apartments and Townhomes in 2000 & 2003,
Oaks California Drive in 2000 and again in 2003 and Oaks Braemar Apartments in 2004. We have also received
MADACS Awards for Best Manager, Best Floor Plan, Best Landscaping, and Best
Multi-Site Manager. We are very proud of our communities and invite you
